China's general public budget revenue, the sum of tax revenue and non-tax revenue, reached over 20 trillion yuan ($2.83 trillion) in the first 11 months of this year, up 0.8 percent year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday.
Of this, the country's tax revenue amounted to some 16.48 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.8 percent compared to the same period last year, data from the ministry showed.
Among the components of China's tax revenue, the securities transaction stamp duty reached 185.5 billion yuan during this period, representing a robust year-on-year growth of 70.7 percent. The increase pointed to the heightened level of activity in the country's capital markets.
Meanwhile, expenditure in the national general public budget reached 24.85 trillion yuan in the first 11 months, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.4 percent.
