According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, from January to February 2026, China's industry-wide foreign direct investment will be 200.15 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.4% (US$28.68 billion in US dollars, an increase of 29%). Among them, domestic investors in China have made non-financial direct investment in 2,927 overseas enterprises in 134 countries and regions around the world, with a cumulative investment of 146.5 billion yuan, a decrease of 11.1% (US$20.99 billion in US dollars, a decrease of 8.6%).
