China's Ministry of Commerce has described a White House report that accuses Chinese exporters of evading United States tariffs through third countries as a distortion of the truth.

He urged Washington to stop making irresponsible accusations and undermining China-US economic and trade ties, and to safeguard global industrial and supply chains.

"China will continue to abide by international trade rules and work with all parties to build a trade network based on equality, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation," he said.
